Whiting Bay overlooks the sea towards the very southern portion of Scotland. The village thrives on a wealth of accommodation for all situations, a great selection of places to eat (from formal restaurants to coffee shops), Whiting Bay has also the added benefit of two extremely well-appointed shops in the village and a farm shop specialising of bio-food just outside. Services are a garage with car-hire, various shops, craft outlets and an art gallery. Two Pubs help you to spend the evenings in pleasurably surroundings. There is also a challenging 18 hole golf course, visitors are always welcome. Enjoy some interesting and well-known forest walks in this area. Along the shoreline, the beach is a mixture of pebble, rock-pool and sand.

various jewellery designed by Assya
Arran Gems
The Corries, Corriecravie, KA27 8PD, Tel: 01770 870 558
Assja B. designs stylish contemporary jewellery. My inspiration are the sea, the shores, the steep hills and shady glens with their abundant flora and fauna. All pieces are unique and can be acquired in my webshop. I also sell my jewellery regularly at the village markets in Kilmory (Southend) and Whiting Bay (market days are listed here on the respective pages). Commissions for necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and bridal jewellery including tiaras are always welcome. I do love to dream up design suggestions based on your wishes.
