TRAVEL INSURANCE |
We always recommend that visitors are well covered for all eventualities. Self-Catering properties, in particular, often ask for non-refundable deposits and these should be covered in your insurance policy. If you are making travel plans for your post-Arran stay, you should always allow for possible ferry delays or cancellations (especially in winter months when occasional storms may cancel or re-route ferry services). |
email - If you are on holiday or business and require an emergency email account (including the facility to transfer files), we offer additional services. You can start an account instantly by putting your full name in front of @visit-isle-of-arran.eu (eg: [email protected]) and we shall reserve your mail for you Please advise us beforehand , we have lost mails in the past due to the spam filter. Retreiving mail costs 60p per item which includes a printed copy and you can ‘rent a PC’ to send mail from £5 per 30 minutes. You must book an appointment ( or by phone to 01770 700 662) in advance! to use this facility which, again, is offered for emergency or business use only. Un-retrieved mail or mail not collected will be destroyed after 14 days. |
